A dream
The boy of the mountain dreams.
With his ewe always by his side,
Places more than a few
He explores.
Unacquainted with the adversities that meet one’s life,
He sets his long day’s journey into the night.
In the middle of the hours of darkness,
He awakes to see if the world around him is still
As it should be.
What can go wrong, O Lord, what can go wrong,
As long as my faith lives?
He thinks for a moment, and soon falls in the arms of Morpheus.
Ah! He opens his eyes to catch a glimpse of the morn sky.
Oh! Where is my faithful friend, my ewe?
He asks himself,
Only to find her lifeless in a forbidden place.
Is the world around me still as it should be?
After a long bridge of silence,
Yes,
He answers.
